In applying for these roles, the suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills

- Understanding of, or interest in, trauma-informed care and psychosocial disabilities.
- Be prepared to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
- High level written and oral communication skills in English and proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
- Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute to a team environment.
- Proven strengths in problem-solving and change management.
Required Qualifications & Training
One of the qualifications below:
Or
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its equivalent/successor
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education


Diploma of Counselling
- Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in counselling relevant to your qualifications gained no longer than five years previously for Diploma of Counselling (CHC5105).
- A qualification in counselling or related field (Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent qualification) that involves counselling at Diploma level or higher.
Administer and Monitor Medications
- The trainer must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Enrolled Nurse or Registered Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner as per ASQA requirements.
